The Duchess of Cambridge has done it again. After her glitzy appearance at the No Time To Die premiere last September, the royal fashion icon stunned audiences yet again at the Top Gun: Maverick London premiere yesterday.

The highly-anticipated sequel, which comes thirty six years after the first Top Gun (1986) film, stars Tom Cruise as he reprises his iconic role as US Naval Aviator Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. On the red carpet, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with Cruise as well as the other Top Gun: Maverick cast members including Jennifer Connelly, Miles Teller and Jon Hamm.

For the glamorous occasion, the Duchess looked like a true Hollywood star in a monochrome Roland Mouret gown which featured off-the-shoulder straps and an elegant column silhouette – the look was perfectly styled with sleek, straight locks and a soft smokey eye. The fashionable 40-year-old also opted for chic statement accessories – Robinson Pelham’s Tsar Star Studs and Drop Earrings, Alexander McQueen’s Beetle Box clutch and pair of classic black pumps.

Meanwhile, her husband Prince William looked equally stylish and dapper sporting a midnight blue Alexander McQueen dinner jacket and a polished pair of loafers that were embroidered with fighter jets – the neat detail is a cool tribute to the Top Gun franchise and the Duke’s background in flying.
