Sarocha Chankimha, better known as Freen, just made history with her Met Gala 2025 debut as the first Thai actress to attend the grand affair.
Free first stepped into the mainstream public eye with her 2022 breakout role as Khum Sam in GAP: The Series, Thailand’s first queer (Girls’ Love) series. While her career began with recognition from the 2016 Miss Teen Thailand competition, Freen was keen on completing her graduate degree before signing with Idol Factory in 2020. A triple threat, she’s made headlines acting, modelling, and singing—often also contributing to the soundtracks of her projects. Since GAP, Freen’s gone on to exercise range, starring in The Loyal Pin (2024), a romantic historical drama, Uranus 2324 (2024), a science fiction thriller, and Rider (2024), a horror-comedy.
Her impeccable style hasn’t gone unnoticed either. Since January 2025, Freen has been Valentino’s first Thai brand ambassador. She’s sat front row at the fashion house’s Paris Fashion Week show, debuted in Cannes, and most recently, walked the Met Gala red carpet. A week ago, Freen announced her partnership with Charlotte Tilbury as their brand ambassador, adding to her portfolio of fashion partnerships — including her own. NinetyTwo, a brand started by Freen, is a brand that focuses on minimalist takes on streetwear.
Needless to say, Freen’s influence reaches far. Let’s take a quick dive into her fashion evolution.
