‘Kowloon Walled City: A Cinematic Journey’ Movie Set Exhibition
With cramped alleyways and aeroplanes flying closely overhead, the Kowloon Walled City was a place of tales and secrets. Due to rampant crime and dire sanitary conditions, the ‘city’ was demolished in the early 90s. Yet, “Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In”, the Best Picture at the Hong Kong Film Awards, brought it back into the zeitgeist. Now, the meticulously crafted movie set is being exhibited in the Kowloon Walled City Park, showcasing life in the city through immersive designs and elements of traditional crafts.
